New Yorks Open Space Conservation Plan provides four overarching objectives to direct our priorities, policies, and actions: Promote outdoor recreation. The Open Space Plan is revised periodically. Identify developing recreational trends and position the City to address these trends as opportunities.Ĥ. New Yorks Open Space Conservation Plan serves as the blueprint for the States land conservation efforts. Document the need for future projects in an effort to solicit other sources of funding.ģ. A community's park plan must be updated every five years to maintain eligibility.Ģ.
